Keelan Eyecare in Brick, New Jersey has 2000 sqaure foot and a wide open floor plan that consists of a large optical show room as well as two examiantion rooms. Owner's Dr. Patrick Keelan and Dr. Martha Nguyen-Keelan opened their office in August of 2009 with a dream and family support.

Dr. Martha Nguyen-Keelan O.D.
Dr. Patrick Keelan O.D.

Drs. Patrick and Martha met in 1998 while working for the same practice. While working at separate offices, they decided to open their own practice in 2009, Keelan Eye Care. They are licensed to treat and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, macula degeneration and cataracts. When they are out of the office, they’re at the ice rink. A family of New Jersey Devil fans, their boys participate in competitive travel ice hockey for the Toms River Blackhawks.

After graduating with a B.A. in Biology from Rutgers University in 1994, Dr. Martha Nguyen-Keelan completed a doctorate at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1998. Prior to receiving her degree, she was employed in the optometry field as an optometric technician for three years. After graduating from PCO, Dr. Martha began a career at Wise Vision and Hearing in Hoboken, NJ. Following her marriage, Dr. Martha relocated to the Jersey Shore where she was employed at Pearle Vision from 2002-2009.

After graduating with a B.S. in Biology from Cook College at Rutgers University in 1988, Dr. Patrick Keelan completed a doctorate at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1994. He was raised in Mantoloking where he spent most of his time with his family and friends at the beach. Dr. Patrick Keelan provided eye care at the Jersey Shore area from 1994-2009 prior to opening his family practice.
